In love typical Basque character above all "the arrantzales."
Quote of the painter: "My character is a typical Basque individuals disproportionately monumental" and then created his characters with disproportionately large denoting strength and charisma.

"CRITICAL"

Cruceta walks slowly, but surely, in the first stage of his life. He knows he still has a long way to go but not worried. He lives today and it takes off.

And it does so very personal but with a full technical expressionist resonances in the composition and give the color. But it is precisely the subjective version of the motives inspiring and perfectly coordinated pictorial realization, which gives the work of Cruceta singulkaridad worth it apart from other performers of similar issues.

In the painting of two aspects combine Cruceta main, the coldness of the analysis and the depth of feeling, because even though this has deeply Bilbao painter present every technical problem in the pictorial work Sege, every picture, every time, "responds to a definite mood, as I said," in this way - continued - can be a time when you care to study only the problem of light, while other, in which a number of reasons you see all dark "

ART painting between lécnica and feeling. 1973.

Painting nice, fresh touch, well cared for values on some issues very treaties and by the Basque painting before now ............ guess is a painter of obvious possibilities.

J. B. ART 1973.

If there really is a Basque painting inthe between "classic" Basque painting must be sought in contemporary art Cruceta Iñaki the significance of this symbiosis. Because Iñaki Cruceta collects, transforms and relaunched with a new approach contributed by teachers vascoos the recent past.

JM ALVAREZ-Matching VOICE OF SPAIN-1975.

Cruceta trace with a sure hand almost architectural shapes, giving the fishermen and sailors a monumentality that is asking more than the color and sculptural matter their compositions masterfully embedded, all the possibilities that he mural gives the epic development constructs. Berry JOSE - EL DIARIO BASQUE - 1975

Cruceta's painting is full of new spirit taming the image and using it to achieve capture on canvas or paper pictorial inspiration. Cruceta Iñaki plays with the distortion of the image, the shapes, transforms, enlarged limbs and Ferzan the corppulencia of the figures, the mode and interpretation of the Expressionists, obtaining results full of vigor. At the same time, with the more austere palette in line with the traditional Basque painting involves the issue masterfully maternidaddes arrantzales or all Oeller sustained by a firm stroke and stroke resolved.

ALVAREZ JM Empar-LA VOZ DE GALICIA-1977.

Cruceta's painting is figurative, a resounding clear as figurative and bright, free clothes to spoil the color of the entire unit to treat in each of the subjects exhibited .............. Diluted in the right perspective the landscape, petite, wrap it in a tammósfera as subtle as delicate, without being eccentric baroque, presents a series of more places that, even so common and familiar, are still pleasantly surprised .
